Concert Band
Course Description
Concert Band is the instrumental ensemble of woodwinds, brass, and percussion at St. Francis High School. This ensemble performs a wide range of music including original wind ensemble pieces, pep music, transcriptions, arrangements, and music from a variety of genres and historical eras. This ensemble performs several times throughout the year, including at home football games, winter concert, home basketball games, and spring concert, among other opportunities. Students will learn about music primarily through performance on their instruments but will also engage in other music standards.
