Jam Session

This is open to students in grades 5-8. This is an Enrichment class that meets DAILY for 30 minutes. If students are enrolled in Jam Session they are not required to practice at home.

Students also receive 5 participation points in each class. Points are deducted for a forgotten instrument (-5), forgotten music (-1) or lack of participation. Students can make up forgotten instrument points by practicing an extra 30 minutes at home. Students have the same expectations in this class as in Band class. This is a graded class and all students will receive an A, B, C, D or F grade. See below for the class expectations and performance dates.
