We follow the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) model for comprehensive school counseling. We support students in the areas of academic, college and career, and social/emotional supports.

Meet the SDA School Counseling Team
Students are assigned to their school counselor by the first letter of their last name. English Language Learners, students in AVID, as well as PALs, have their own designated counselor. We are available before school, at lunch, or after school without an appointment. Drop in to see us regarding any topic! If students need to see a counselor for something urgent or serious, tell your teacher and come directly to the counseling office any time.
