Need Help Applying to MiraCosta Community College?
Every Spring term, SDA Counseling Office works with our current Seniors to support them through their process of applying to MiraCosta Community College. There are workshops and meetings held in the spring. Information about this process will be presented in Senior classes in January/February.
If you have questions prior to this time frame or need a question answered sooner than that connect with a MiraCosta Ambassador or your counselor and we will be happy to help. Additionally application information can be found on the MiraCosta website.

Miracosta field trip
Interested Seniors can join us to attend the MiraCosta Community College Tour and Application Workshop!
Where: Mira Costa Community College Tour and Application Workshop-Oceanside Campus
When: Tuesday February, 7, 2023
Depart SDA at 8:45am on district provided bus (all students attending will meet in front of the school by the bell tower at 8:30am)
Arrive at Mira Costa at 9:15am
Depart Mira Costa at 11:15am
Arrive back at SDA at 11:45am (in time for student lunch)
Who: Any SDA Senior who is interested in learning more about Mira Costa Community College and/or planning to attend Mira Costa in the Fall 2023. Teacher/Chaperone- Ms. Liu (Counselor at SDA)
What: Seniors will tour Mira Costa Community College’s main campus in Oceanside. During your time at Mira Costa you will get a tour of their beautiful campus and meet with Mira Costa staff to get assistance in filling out their free enrollment application. IMPORTANT: In order to fill out the Mira Costa application each student who is a U.S. resident will need to know their social security number (SSN); SSN is not required for non-U.S. residents (documented or undocumented).
How: If interested, please have a parent (and 1st and 2nd period teachers) fill out the attached Field Trip Permission Form (English and Spanish) and return to Ms. Toledo in the counseling office by Friday, February, 3, 2023.
