5 For a new tenant moving in, Section 8 might pay less rent than the rent we marketed the property for and the
rent the tenant agreed to pay even if a lease has been signed with the tenant and SDCPM. Section 8 may only let
us know if this is the case several days after the move in inspection been done, by which time often the tenant
has moved in.
6: An existing tenant may pay more than the max allowed for the # of bedrooms as long as Section 8 approve
and the total rent is not more than the market rent determined by Section 8
