Mulga Joeys

At Mulga Joeys we encourage all our families to get involve as much as possible! Watching the joy on the Joeys faces as well as the parents make all our efforts in making the meetings possible.

Our term plans are made of activities chosen by our Joey Scouts with input from the parents and the leaders so you can be assured that there will be an activity on the plan to suit your child.

We do a variety of indoor, outdoor, craft, and adventurous activities while always trying to push the Joeys out of their comfort zones just enough to make sure they are comfortable.

Here are some fun things we have been up too........

The ACT Contingent to South Australia’s Encounter 22 has encountered quite a lot on their trip. Road blocks due to floods meant their trip over took an incredibly long time but they made it. Then Saturday afternoon a massive storm hit the site at Port Elliot. Local groups went home but some, like ACT, set up an evacuation centre in the gym and formed patrols to pack down and save any equipment. By all reports everyone is in high spirits and taking it all in their stride. What a great display of community and resilience.
