Tahitian folk song
Origin: Tahiti (π΅π«), French Polynesia
Trivia: the word "tattoo" originated from the Tahitian word tatau. Tatau on the body tells the story and meaning of an individual's personal history, journey, and experiences. The believe is that within each individual line tattooed on the body, the maβohi of the past is connected to the mana of the present and future. Traditional Tahitian culture believe in the presence of Tohu, the god of tatau, who painted all the colors and patterns of the ocean's fish and it provides an essence of meaning and life.
