Standing Posture:
head is level, chin should be parallel to the ground and slightly tucked in or back while maintaining a straight neck
chest is high but relaxed, with shoulders down or slightly back
stomach/abdomen area should be both firm yet expandable consecutively (malleable)
hips are below the torso
hands and arms should be relaxed and at the sides; there should be a small space between limbs and body
knees are relaxed and not locked
the weight of the body should be slightly leaning forward
feet are shoulder-width apart; one foot may be slightly more forward for balance
Sitting Posture:
when sitting down, body should be on the front portion of the chair, the back is not leaning on anything
shoulders should be relaxed and in vertical alignment with hips
thighs are parallel to the floor
feet should be flat on the floor
arms are relaxed
