Trivia: "Aura Lea," or "Aura Lee," is an American Civil War song composed by George R. Poulton (music) with lyrics by W.W. Fosdick; it was first published in 1861 shortly before the Civil War. This piece retained its popularity through the passage of time and its melody was later adapted and lyrics arranged into the Elvis Presley's song "Love Me Tender."
