Today we will have show and tell at our Zoom class. Bring something interesting that you would like to tell your classmates about. See you at 11:30. Here is today's work:
1. SeeSaw - Please take pictures of your ELA sheet, grammar sheet, spelling sheets and page 514 of your math book.
2. ELA - We will be reading Chapter 8 of our Theodore Roosevelt book today. After our Zoom class, do the ELA sheet below to review the next two vocabulary words (experts, extinct) and to write in response to our story. You may have to use the back of the page to write a complete response.
3. Grammar - Do the sheet below to review the use of capital letters. Remember: Capital letters are used to begin a sentence and in the names of people and places.
4. Phonics - Read the text on page 238 and then follow the directions on the bottom of the page to interact with the text.
5. Spelling - Complete the missing letter sheets below.
6. Religion - This Sunday is Pentecost Sunday. On this special day we celebrate the coming of the Holy Spirit and the beginning of the church. Watch this video to learn more about Pentecost.
