The notebooks which should have been in the second grade schooltoolbox orders have arrived.  If you purchased the notebooks through the website, the blue books which you had originally received have been collected and your child will receive three new books in their place.   This book has the correct spacing and lines that we would like to use in second grade.  These books will help the children transition to cursive writing later in the school year.  One book will be used for homework, one for classwork and one will be collected to be used when we begin to learn cursive writing.  When we do begin to learn cursive those children who did not purchase the books from the website will be required to purchase one of these notebooks from school ($3.00).  For the classwork and homework these children can choose to either use the books they have or purchase the new books from school.  Thanks for your patience and understanding.
