Happy Saint Patrick's Day!
1. ELA - Today we will continue to work on Retelling and Summarizing. Please read pages 70 to 79 of "A Chair for my Mother" and answer the two questions on page 4 of the reading comprehension packet.
2. Spelling - Write each of these long o words three times and use each in a sentence. Find the letter and vowel teams that make the long o sound in each.

3. Math - Today we will do two worksheets in Math. The first is a practice of three digit addition. The second is a review of two digit subtraction (with a St. Patrick's Day twist!). Both worksheets should be printed out. If this is not possible please copy the problems on to a piece of paper to do the work.
4. Religion - Read page 186. Complete the sentence on page 187
5. St. Patricks Day - Read the story of St. Patrick's Day and answer the reading comprehension questions. This sheet must also be printed out. Questions can be answered on a piece of paper if you are not able to print it.
Just for fun: Go to Raz-Kids and look for the assignment I have put up. Read the story "The Leprechaun Trap" and see if you can answer the questions. Tell your parents about the leprechaun trap you wrote about in school. I have also put up some St. Patricks Day extra sheets including a story of St. Patrick to color, a shamrock which teaches about the Blessed Trinity, and a word search. These are all optional. Have fun!
