Academic Info

Students sometimes need extra help with their classes.  One of the best options for students to get additional help is to talk to their teacher.  The majority of teachers are available for help after school if the student sets this up with them in advance.

The John XXIII Education Center (1101 Douglas Ave) offers after-school academic support for students. See the flyer below for more information.

The Office of Secondary Education keeps a list of RUSD teachers who would be available for extra tutoring.  Please contact Peter Reynolds at 631-7067 for this information.

After School Credit Recovery

For those students who have failed a core class (English, math, science, social studies, phy edu or health), they have the opportunity to make up this class after school on the computer.  After school credit recovery runs Monday through Thursday from 2:45 - 4:15 in the 2nd floor computer lab.  Students should see their counselor to register.  A permission slip is required (see below).

Anyone who is enrolled in Credit Recovery can attend M-W in the Library after school

Thursdays are for Juniors & Seniors only in  Room 271

- we have limited space, had to move from Library due to ETC club being held in Library on Thursdays
