Currently working in the Information Security field as a signal intelligence analyst. Researching    into possible side channel analysis attacks, particularly electromagnetic attacks against IoT and embedded systems, while developing countermeasures to mitigate known and future attacks. I have recently submitted my PhD in Computer Science at Rhodes University.

I offer a unique skill set as I have specialities in digital signal processing in the cyber security domain, particularly the electromagnetic area where electromagnetic information is captured with a Software Defined Radio and utilised to locate vulnerabilities within security systems. The research that I conducted demonstrated that the AES-128 encryption key can be recovered from a Raspberry Pi  while intercept electromagnetic information. Furthermore, a novel software based countermeasure that utilises the Secure Hash Algorithm was developed to mitigate and obfuscate the EM side channel leakage on a Raspberry Pi.
