A High-level Categorisation and Comparison of Features from the Functional Paradigm

Supervisor: Dr Yusuf Motara

The functional paradigm has existed for a long time and while it has become popular in this current decade, there is not much information about its features or guides for high-level analysis and comparison.

The purpose of this work is to create a high-level feature model for the functional paradigm by examining an existing feature model, identifying features of the functional paradigm and analysing and showing the practical application of these features through functional languages.

The intention is to bridge the gap between the functional paradigm and other paradigms, expose beginners to functional languages and provide programmers with a functional paradigm guide.
