You can visit the Zen Room located in the Library during study halls or sign up in PowerSchool to take advantage of it during advisory. This space is a great way to take a break from the daily stress that you may find at school. Please sign in at the door on the ipad before entering. After that it is your time to explore the many different strategies that can encourage relaxation, rejuvenation and a sense of calm. This space will be open every period of the day and teachers can send 1-2 students from any study hall/guided study at a time. There will be a maximum of 6 students at a time in the space so if it is busy be sure to come back at a later time.
The television is set up with a huge library of mediation videos, yoga sessions, relaxing soundscapes and other helpful content to make the most of your time. You will also find a couple comfortable chairs to curl up with a book from the wellness library or take some time to just color.
