They are FREE - All students are eligible to take up to 4 courses per school year, free of charge - the only cost to you is your books!
You get college AND high school credit! This can reduce the number of credits you will pay for when you get to college later!
You can take classes that are of high interest to you - PLUS, you get to choose from interesting electives not offered at FHS!
Keep in mind that these courses are taken independently without a designated FHS teacher to support your coursework.
These courses also have strict weekly deadlines and do not allow for retakes on assignments or assessments.
You will be responsible for all materials and books associated with your course. Scholarships are available for financial support.
We strongly suggest you speak to your school counselor prior to registering for a course.
Students can take up to (4) free classes per year at the University of Maine System or Community College System. ExplorEC also offers online AP Courses. Once you set up your ExplorEC account you can search for all courses.
NOTE: The application deadline is at least 1 week prior to the course start date. It is STRONGLY recommended to submit a completed application at least 2 weeks before class begins.

Earn up to 2 college courses per semester through the Husson University Early College Access Program (ECAP). Designed for rising juniors and seniors, this early credit pathway lets students take college courses early, saving time and money on a future degree.
