Job Corps is the largest free residential education and job training program for young adults ages 16-24. Job Corps connects you with the skills and education you need to get the career you want. We offer hands-on career technical training in high-growth industries and can also help you get a GED or high school diploma if you don't already have one. Students must be committed to improving their education and future. Job Corps also offers career planning, on-the-job training, job placement, residential housing, food service, driver’s education, health and dental care, a biweekly basic living allowance, and a clothing allowance.
Each year, The Jed Foundation (JED) honors one high school student and one college student for doing outstanding work to create communities of care in their schools. Student Voice of Mental Health Award recipients are advocates raising mental health awareness by leading thoughtful, impactful initiatives; increasing connection and belonging; encouraging their peers to reach out for help; and building support systems for youth mental health and suicide prevention in their school or campus communities. Eligible high school applicants must be currently enrolled juniors or seniors 16 years of age or older. Eligible undergraduate applicants must be currently enrolled sophomores, juniors, or seniors.

The Amable A. and Vivian Caron Scholarship program is available from October 1st through November 18th and awards one $2,500 scholarship. It is open to all Atlantic Federal Credit Union members who are primary members of an active account.
To be considered for this scholarship award, applicants must be enrolled in a Fall 2024 undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited college/vocational school (minimum 6 credit hours per semester). Students must maintain a 2.0 GPA for the fall 2024 semester and be registered for spring 2025 classes in an undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited college/vocational school (minimum 6 credit hours per semester). The AMVETS National Ladies Auxiliary Career Start Scholarship has been established for members of AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary who are expanding, updating, and/or reentering the workforce. Applications will be judged and scholarships awarded at the National Convention held during the month of August. A possible total of three (3) $500 scholarships may be awarded at that time. The applicant must be a current member of the AMVET Ladies Auxiliary and must have completed at least one semester/quarter of study at an accredited technical school, business school, college, or university. Applications must be postmarked no later than July 1st.

The AMVETS National Ladies Auxiliary Scholarship has been established to recognize and reward need, academic achievement and potential of students; to stimulate recruitment of well qualified candidates for careers in our society today; and to reflect the interest and involvement of a National Service Organization and its members. Scholarships will be judged and awarded at the National Convention, held during the month of August. A possible total of (2) $1,000 scholarships and up to (5) $750 scholarships may be awarded at that time. The applicant must be a current member or a son/daughter, step son/daughter or grandchild, step grandchild of a current member of the AMVETS Ladies Auxiliary and be in at least his/her second year of undergraduate study at an accredited college or university. Applications must be postmarked no later than July 1st.

Applicant must be enrolled at a Nursing School and in at least his or her second year of nursing at an accredited school or college of nursing. FULL TIME AND PURSUING AN UNDERGRADUATE DEGREE IN NURSING. The candidate must be sponsored by a Sackette Unit. No post graduate applications will be considered. All applications for the National Sackette Nursing Scholarships must be returned to the local Sackette Unit no later than May 1st.

This scholarship seeks to honor the life of Dustan Biegler by supporting high school seniors and adult learners pursuing a business degree or advanced training in the Construction or Skilled Trades fields.

The Able Flight Flight Training Scholarship is designed for people who wish top earn a Sport Pilot certificate. It covers ground and flight training, testing, travel and lodging expenses as required. Applicants for a full scholarship must be available to travel for training for a six-to-eight week period without a break. Training is typically mid-May to early July. Students must remain at the training facility throughout the entire training period with no exceptions. Please do not apply unless you can commit to this schedule.
