Introductory Speech
Value: 50 points (speech = 40 points, outline = 10 points)
Purpose:
The introductory speech is designed to be a short, informative speech about…you. There is a wide range of what can be discussed; listed below are some suggestions of what you can talk about during your speech (these are optional). Presenters may use a paper, note cards, or nothing during the presentation. The presentation will be done at the podium. Visuals are optional.

Extra curricular activities
Vacations
Outline: You will turn in a written outline of your speech. Your outline does not have to be written in complete sentences. It should be an overview of your speech. Outlines will be due the day you present.
Time Range: 3:00-4:00
I will raise my hand when you have reached the time minimum.
Order Format: Volunteer
Reminders: Be sure there is a focus to this presentation. Do not present it as a stream-of-consciousness, rambling, or a snapshot of everything about you.
