Librarian/Media Coordinator: Mrs. Donna G. Edrington
Mrs. Edrington is a lifetime native of Stoneville, Rockingham County.
She and her husband, David; their two sons, Silas and Ryan,
live out in the country in the house that belonged to her
grandparents.
Mrs. Edrington was awarded the Teaching Fellows Scholarship and attended Appalachian State University from 1989-1993 where she earned her BS in English and BS in Secondary Education. Mrs. Edrington taught ninth and tenth grade English in Surry County from 1993-1996. Mrs. Edrington taught seventh grade language arts and social studies at Bethany School from 1996-1999. Mrs. Edrington began in the Masters of Library and Information Studies program at UNCG in the summer of 1999, and was the media specialist at Reidsville Intermediate School from 1999-2003. Mrs. Edrington has been at Huntsville since 2003, and completed her Masters of Library and Information Studies program in May of 2005. Mrs. Edrington became a National Board certified Media Coordinator in 2006. In 2009 Mrs. Edrington was recognized as the Outstanding Media Coordinator of the Year by the North Carolina Technology in Education Society (NCTIES). In 2016, Mrs. Edrington renewed National Board Certification for Library Media/Early Childhood through Young Adulthood.
