Where do they live? Africa--in the woods and grasslands below the Sahara Desert.
What are adults and babies called? Babies are called cub, whelp, or calf.
What do giraffe's eat? They eat the leaves at the top of the tree.
How heavy can they be? Giraffes weigh between 1,750 and 2,800 pounds. That is over 10 times what our group would weigh all together.
How fast can they run? They can run up to 35 miles an hour.
Are they diurnal or nocturnal? Diurnal
Interesting facts? Giraffes have really long tongues.
