Where do they live? South America
What are names of adults and babies? Babies are called chicks. The adults do not have special names.
What do they eat? They eat seeds, fruits, crops, and insects, but they will eat whatever is available--they are not picky.
How heavy can they be? Rheas weigh 50 pounds.
How fast can they run? We did not find an actual speed, but rheas can use their powerful legs to outrun predators.
Are they diurnal or nocturnal? Diurnal--
Interesting facts? They are in danger, because people use them for food and to make leather.
