USER BEWARE:InfoPlease is similar to Ask.com and other sites that develop content based on what users provide, so from time to time, the only information they have to offer is the archive of a question/answer that someone submitted. Biography--Black History--Key in your person (last name, first name / surname, given name), then click on their name to read more about them. This is a website that is maintained by the staff that produces broadcasts for the Biography cable TV channel.
Fact Monster--great information if you can not be distracted by the advertisements at the top and right sides of every page. Click on range of names that matches your subject's name. For example: If your subject's name is Smith, then you would click on Rabb-Swoopes, because Smith would come between Rabb and Swoopes in an alphabetized list. Fact Monster is the children's version of InfoPlease.
