Lincoln Myers

Prior to joining the faculty at Rutland Intermediate School, Lincoln Worked at Piedmont Classical High School in Greensboro, NC and Richard Yoakley Transitional School in Knoxville, TN. He has taught band, chorus, and general music, and has given private lessons on both brass instruments and in music composition. Lincoln is a performing member of both the Marble Valley Community Band and the Catamount Brass Quintet on tuba. His current position in Rutland City is teaching general music and chorus to grades 3-6, as well as giving band lessons. He also supervises both the Music Comp club and the Advanced Chorus club at RIS. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Tennessee Tech University and his Master’s degrees in Music Performance and Music Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
