Carrie Kohl is a graduate of Rutland High School and excited to return to her Rutland roots. She graduated in 2004 from Castleton University with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education. She has spent the last 20 years teaching band and general music in the upper valley area of Vermont. She has served on the board of directors for the Vermont Music Educators Association as the conference chair. She has served on the board for the Winooski Valley Music District and the Connecticut River Valley Music District. Having grown up in the Green Mountain Music District, Carrie is looking forward to working at Northeast and Northwest with the youngest musicians and helping cultivate a love of music.
