Poudre High School

Hello my name is Nancy Gallegos-Saighman. I am the daughter of Mexican parents from Chihuahua Mexico. I was born in Bishop. California. I grew up in Los Angeles until the age of 11 (GO DODGERS!) and then moving to Fort Collins in 1986. I am a former student and graduate of Poudre High graduating in 1994.  I was a stylist for 27yrs here in Fort Collins before I started my employment with Poudre School District in 2022 as a Para at Fort Collins High School helping Newcomer students  in their classroom overcome the language barrier. It is my pleasure to return as a Family Liaison  at Poudre and be the support that families and students might need.

Hola, mi nombre es Nancy Gallegos-Saighman. Soy hija de padres mexicanos de Chihuahua, México. Nací en Bishop. California. Crecí en Los Ángeles hasta los 11 años (¡VAMOS DODGERS!) nos mudamos a Fort Collins en 1986 . Soy una ex alumna y graduada de Poudre High y me gradué en 1994. Fui estilista durante 27 años aquí en Fort Collins antes de comenzar mi empleo en el Distrito Escolar de Poudre en 2022 como Para en Fort Collins High School ayudando a los estudiantes recién llegados en su salón de clases a superar la barrera del idioma. Es un placer regresar a Poudre como Enlace Familiar y ser el apoyo que las familias y los estudiantes puedan necesitar.
