Stamp Project

Design -

I watched the Stamp Video to learn how to design the stamp. I used Fusion 360 to design the stamp. Mr. Cribbs helped me navigate and teach me about the 3D Printer so that I could easily print on it. Used the chamfer tool in the software. Used the center diameter circle tool to create the stamps shape. I was able to finish the stamp within a class period. I had to wait a few class periods to print as I was not certified on the 3D printer yet. I did not have problems with creating the stamp. Fusion 360 is a very dynamic software that can create almost anything you can imagine, so come up with some things that you enjoy! Only issues were waiting to print the stamp, otherwise, everything went very smoothly. The stamp was printed well on the 3D printer and I was able to add my initials to the stamp without any trouble. I learned the Fusion 360 software in depth a little more. Make sure to follow the video step by step, as it can be very easy to miss a step.

Fabrication:

I used the Prusa 3D Printer with PLA plastic. I had to rotate the stamp in Prusa Control so that it would print correctly. Make sure to have the correct dimensions and sizing in Prusa Control so that the stamp prints correctly without trouble. Prusa Control has very simple controls so it was very easy to adjust the way I wanted my stamp to print. Always double check with Mr. Cribbs before printing or cutting so you know that your settings are correct, you can also get great insight into what you can do to make your design even better!
