Design:
Outline your design process
Connor and I like a show called Naruto. The two main characters have different logos used by their clans, so Connor did one and I did the other.
What tools/commands did you use
I made an 8 inch by 8 inch square and loaded an image into Inkscape(the clan logo). I traced the image to bitmap and then typed out the clan name underneath.
What techniques did you use
N/A
Describe your work-flow
This was quite short, so I finished it and then decided to experiment with different powers on the raster to see if it would look interesting if the entire thing was rastered.
Mistakes made
I didn't cut it on time.
Lessons learned
Don't wait for other people to cut, and if the laser cutter isn't being used, go ahead and use it.
Timeline/scheduling issues/concerns
N/A
Things done well
Problem solving. The laser was registering the logo as the same color as the square, so when I was cutting, I had to stop the laser before it started cutting the logo.
