Drone Project

Design:

I used Inkscape to make the drone, while I watched the Youtube video provided to follow along with the steps. I used lots of different circles to create this drone as it required many to indicate motion in the drone. I was able to finish the drone design within a class period and upload the photo and file to this page. I had trouble with creating the motion indicators in the design but I rewatched the video and was able to master them. The drone was not proportionate the first time I created it. Make sure the things you design are the same sizes and dimensions as the ones in the video or it can be a little hard to follow along. I was able to get the colors almost exact and once I was finished, the drone came out looking much better than the first time I had tried to design it. Understanding the Inkscape software can be a very long process but I think it will help me out in the future with projects similar to these. Be creative and use your own colors on the drone, or you can even make the drone larger or smaller if you desire, just make sure not to make any mistakes while doing this so that it comes out well once you are finished.
