L atitude - Distance North or South of the Equator

O cean Currents - Temperature of water currents affects temperature of air blowing inland from the Ocean

W inds: Wind can move air from place to place, changing temperatures depending on source of wind

E levation: Height above sea level. The higher the elevation the cooler it gets.

R elief: Shape of the land- wind going up a mountain will cool, causing more rain or snow near the top

N ear Large Bodies of Water: Water never gets too hot in summer and does not freeze in the winter so temperature affected nearby.
