Questions guiding our study of natural resources:
- How can you change your way of living to reduce your consumption of resources?
- What roles do various industries play in your community?
- Which of Canada’s natural resources do you think has the most important uses?
- The BIG Ideas:
- Individuals can influence how natural resources are used.
- People have different points of view about the value of different industries and their use of resources.
- Canada has a wide variety of natural resources, and they are used in many different ways.
This geography course focuses heavily on the concept of sustainability. Today, we will begin to scratch the surface of what this term means and how it relates to our learning this semester.
