Drawing & Painting I

Drawing & Painting I teaches techniques that are meant to challenge the student’s ability and help them build upon skills introduced in Studio-in-Art.  Students will work in a wide variety of drawing media such as pencil, color pencil, chalk and oil pastel and mixed media.  Painting will be explored with watercolors, acrylics, colored inks, tempera and mixed media.  This course is recommended for all students considering a sequence in the Visual Arts and/or working towards the Advanced Placement (AP) 2D.
