Advanced Placement 2-D Portfolio
This Advanced Placement 2D Design Portfolio program enables highly motivated students to do college level work while still in high school. It is designed for students who are seriously interested in the practical experience of art. This course involves purposeful decision making about how to use the Elements and Principles of Art in an integrative way. AP-2D Design is not based on a written exam; instead, students submit a portfolio in May to the AP College Board. Students submit application for AP-2D in February of their Junior year. Please note: Summer art assignments are mandatory and are outlined in the AP-2D Portfolio Overview Packet. There is a course fee of $85. (subject to change).
