Student-centric Values-driven Education (SVE) Workshop

Time 3.00 pm to 5.00 pm
As a fraternity and as a school, we have made many efforts toward SVE. These could be summarised in 2 broad goals:
(A) Supporting children in discovering and developing their strengths and interests, and in making informed education and career choices based on them
· Providing broad-based opportunities across multiple domains
· Guiding students to make informed choices in their education journey and career
(B) Developing strong foundations for a lifelong journey
· Strong foundations in the areas of knowledge, character, skills and values
Grouping
The staff will sit according to their non-IP departments.We will be using Padlet Walls and post-it notes with butcher papers at your table during this workshop.

Group Discussion
• You may take 1-2 minutes to think about and write down your points on a post-it note.
• You may take turns to share your points, and paste your post-it notes on the butcher paper at the table.
• Note Poster to consolidate and post the ideas in statement form onto the respective Padlet Walls below so that everyone can see it.
• If someone has raised a different point, do feel free to add on. Or, feel free to clarify where necessary.

Consider this in terms of these 3 factors: mindsets, practices and programmes for the 4 goals of SkillsFuture (Acquire deep skills, Value skills & mastery, Enjoy learning and Making informed choices).
