ALP: The 3E Experience @ YNPS
Yu Neng's ALP seeks to develop students’ 21CC, especially collaboration, communication, and critical and inventive thinking by incorporating problem-solving in Project Work.
There are three different levels in the ALP:
- Exposure;
- Engagement; and
- Excellence.
Exposure
All students are given the opportunity to acquire the following skills during curriculum hours:
- Basic ICT literacy
- Computational thinking and logical reasoning through Code for Fun
- Digital creative arts
Through problem-solving tasks, they will be able use what they have learnt to devise simple solutions to common everyday problems.
Engagement
Students with interest are able to develop higher-order technical and thinking skills through more challenging problem-solving.
Excellence
Students with talent are groomed to further their potential through collaborative opportunities with other students and/or industry partners.
