I worked as a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemical and Biomedical Engineering at West Virginia University. Prior to joining WVU, I was a Postdoctoral Researcher at The Ohio State University. My research interests are in the areas of Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS), gas separation, absorption, membrane, gas hydrate, process modeling and simulation, and optimization. Up to date, I have published more than 100 peer-reviewed journal articles, 20 journal editorials, 2 books, 6 book chapters (h-index of 35) and delivered more than 10 invited talks and seminars. I am an Editor in journals such as Applied Energy, Environmental Chemistry Letters, Journal of Natural Gas Science and Engineering, and Chemical Papers and serve as committee member in several international conferences. I was a Visiting Professor in the Department of Geology at University of Cincinnati from 2018 to 2019.
