I am a chemical engineering scientist with a penchant for problems in the area of complex system engineering where there are multiple interacting units that show emergent behavior. I had visited WVU from 12 September 2014 – 26 January 2015 to assist Professor Bhattacharyya with gasifier failure modeling.
My PhD thesis is about the study of complex behavior of drops in microchannels. We model the interactions at the entity scale using simple models to predict the complex non-intuitive emergence at the ensemble scale. Simplicity of the models allows us to perform rational design of these systems.
