Madame Davoren

Bonjour! My name is Holly Davoren and I serve as the Curriculum Team Leader for the Foreign Language Department, Grades 7-8 at Stacy Middle School. I also teach five 8th grade French classes at the middle school level. This is my 19th year teaching and I love it! I am a proud 1984 graduate of Milford High where my love of Foreign Languages was encouraged by my amazing teachers. I graduated from Trinity College in 1988 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in French and Spanish. I was fortunate to have studied in Paris the Fall Semester of my Junior year. I used my language skills in the Business world for 10 years and then decided on a career change to Education, working for both the Franklin and Milford Public School Systems. In 2012, I graduated from Framingham State University with a Master's Degree in Education, Concentration in Spanish. I have two sons, 24 and 22 years old who keep me very busy! I love any form of exercise especially dance! For me, happiness is when my students are enjoying all the language activities I plan for them inside and outside of the classroom!
