¡Hola! I am very excited to be part of Milford High School! Although I’ve been living in the United States for the past 16 years, I am a native speaker born and raised in México.
I have a BA in Art specializing in Graphic Design and I’ve always loved teaching. After I graduated college, while also doing graphic design freelance, I had the opportunity to teach at the ITESM high school, one of the leading colleges in México. For three years, I was able to combine my two passions, Art and Language instruction right before my husband and I moved to the United States and started a family.
After staying home for a few years with my three young children I decided to go back to teaching in 2008 at a bilingual preschool in Dallas, Texas. We moved to Massachusetts in 2012 and I started working in the Mendon-Upton Regional School District as part of their Spanish Immersion Program. This is my second year in Milford High School and it has been a wonderful experience working again with high school students. I love offering cultural insight and diversity of foreign culture to them in a fun and engaging way as well as helping them acquire a second language which will be very useful in this globalized world of today.
