FRENCH LANGUAGE & CULTURE

In this course, students work to improve their proficiency in the skill areas of writing, speaking, reading, and listening in preparation for the AP French exam. Readings from literature, contemporary sources, debates, oral reports and varied listening activities form the basis for this college-level study of the language. There will be a graded independent assignment due prior to the first day of class. A high level of motivation and a strong work ethic is necessary for success in this course. The student must take the AP language exam in May if they wish to receive AP designation on their transcript.
