Whenever a black laundry bag gets dropped off, it has dry cleaning in it.
- Remove the clothes from the bag, and carefully count the number of items in it
- When creating the ticket, if the customers qr tag doesn't have a sticker on it, charge them a $1 pickup fee.
- Read the instructions card to know the name, starch, stains, or other things to pay attention to
- Once the clothes have been tagged and bagged, afix a deliver tag to the main ticket and write the bag number on the tag.
- Convert the laundry bag into the garment bag, and put the customer's receipt in the invoice pocket, along with a new instructions card.
- Hang the bag up on the side rack with the securitas stuff.
When the clothes get back
- Mark them as in store on liberty and as DELIVERED on clothespin
- Charge their card on square, and send them a receipt
- Match the clothes with the correct garment bag
Setting this up for a customer
- Determine if they are a Harvard Student or Cambridge Resident
- We only offer pickups for Harvard College students
- First create them an account in liberty (if they don't already have one)
- Next, have them fill out the card on file form and store the card into square
- Finally, set up the bag in clothespin
- For Harvard Students use their regular dorm information
- For Non-Harvard students, set the dorm as fairfax
- For Harvard students, set the bag to be delivery, while set all others to be non delivery
- Explain to them that if they drop of the bag before 1 pm or it gets picked up from their dorm in the morning, it will be ready the next day for pickup after 2 pm.
- Finally, show them how to request a pickup on the app or how to check their clothes status
