When a customer comes in to pick up their dry cleaning, after typing in their total, ask them if they have a card on file
Adding a Card - In order to keep the customers card on file, on the ipad select the menu on the bottom left and hit the customers button. Select create customer, then type in their name, email, and phone number. Then, scroll down and select Add card, where you swipe their card. It will also ask you to input their billing Zip Code. Next, have them fill out the Credit Card Authorization Form (kept in the top drawer). Once they fill this out, place it on my desk.
Charging a card on file - You enter in their total on the checkout page like normal, then ask them if they have a card on file. If they do, they can leave. Hit the blue charge button, select card on file and search their name. If you can’t find their name, stop them from leaving or track them down outside. Hit the blue charge button, select card on file and search their name. Charge their card, and when it shows up to the signature page, don't sign just hit continue. If their card doesn't charge (expired), create a freshdesk ticket with their name and how much they owe.
