Picking up an Order
1) Click the “Pickup/drop off button” and on the next page click on your name. If your name does not appear, contact a manager:
2) Type in your password if the system prompts you to. If not, type in the customer’s last name:
3) SPECIAL NOTE: If you type in the wrong name and want to edit your typo, you must restart this process and go back to the home page. Do not edit the name on the page below:
4) On that page above, click the name of the person you are serving.
5) For pickups, click the button on the top that reads “Pick Up Order”:
6) This button will take you to the following page where you will find what the customer needs to pick up. Anything labeled “Ready” under the “Status” column should be in the store, so grab the items off the rack according to last name:
7) NOTE: Some orders will be marked “In Process.” This means they have not been marked as being in the store. The “R Date” column lists the day when each order should have been returned. If today is or is past the R-Date, check the rack thoroughly without appearing alarmed to the customer.
a. If you do find the order on the rack, proceed through this guide as usual.
b. If you do not find the order on the rack, be sure to check all the racks, including the Securitas rack.
c. SEE CUSTOMER SERVICE on the Table of Contents for more information beyond here.
8) Once the order is found, the customer has looked at it and confirmed everything is ok, click the ticket rows corresponding to the orders you found (match the Ticket #’s column with the actual ticket number”) and the order being picked up will be highlighted in yellow.
9) Proceed to the checkout page. To do so, click the button labeled “Pickup” at the top right corner of the page above.
a. For Special Customers (see Table of Contents) clicking this button will immediately end the order. You have done nothing wrong. Simply skip to step 10 below.
10)The following page will appear.
a. If the customer decides to pay by cash, type in the amount of cash paid on the on-screen type pad on the right. Then, press the green Cash button. The system will tell you how much change is needed.
b. If the customer pays by card, click the grey button labeled “Credit Card” and click the correct type of card on the menu that pops up afterward. DO NOT click “OK” until you have done what is needed on the square app.
i. ON THE IPAD: Type in the customers total into the space
ii. Swipe the customer's card, have them sign their name, and put in their email for the receipt.
iii. Once the credit card portion is done, click “OK” on the menu that lists credit card types.
11) After payment is processed, be sure to grab the receipt that is printed, staple it to the ticket with the tag number found on the clean clothing, and staple that to the credit card receipt (if applicable). Take all of the stapled items and stick them through the spike on the counter.
