UMass Global Student Guide

• • You must use your UMass Global Gmail account for this assignment rather than your personal Gmail account.

  • Tip: Use a different photo in your UMass Global Google Apps for Education account so you can quickly see which Google account you are in.

  • Your Google email account must have the mail.umassglobal.edu address.

Add a Photo Profile

• • Locate your photo on your computer.

  • Click on "set a profile photo."

  • You can add other Google accounts and move between accounts.

  • Add a different photo for each of your Google accounts so you know immediately which account you are working in.

Google Apps

• • Once you are in to Google Apps for Education, click on the icon to get to all of the apps. You will need to click on "more" to get to the classroom app.

Create Your Classroom

• • You can add your own Google Classroom by clicking on the plus sign and select "Create"

  • You can also join your students' classrooms once they send you the code by clicking on "Join" and typing in the code.
