dents will complete a current event summary. The assignment will be due on Friday. Each month the focus will change between local, national, and global. Students are responsible for finding an appropriate article with the assigned focus. They will then write a summary and reflection following the modeled guidelines. The article must be handed in with the planning sheet, summary, and reflection.
We will spend the first couple months of school practicing the summary and reflection. We will look at examples and learn where to look to find age appropriate and interesting articles.
