Math Fact Practice
Each night, Monday through Thursday students should be choosing a way to practice their math facts for 5-10 minutes a night. In 5th grade fluency with basic multiplication facts is very important in order for students to be efficient and accurate with their calculations with more challenging problems.
Below you will find the Fact Practice Menu to give ideas of how to practice at home as well as some of the games (Tic-Tac-Toe and the fact practice powerpoints) that are on the fact practice menu.
In class students will also be practicing their facts and will be working toward mastering them all. Therefore, they will likely have some facts they are working to remember. They should focus on these when practicing each night.
