Workplace Experience offers students the opportunity to earn high school credit while gaining real-world job experience in a career field of interest. With approval from their home school, students are permitted to leave campus early to participate in part-time employment. This program helps students develop essential workplace skills, explore potential career paths, and build a strong foundation for future employment or post-secondary education.
Work Place Experience is a 1 or 2 year class where junior or senior students can earn their Consumer Education Credit while sharing their work place happenings.
Lincoln Community High Students
Students get to explore various types of careers and the necessary training required to be successful. Students must have a job where they receive a paycheck and work at least 15 hours a week. Students will attend this class 5th hour and may be released to go to work with permission from the high school.
Greenview/Hartem/Illini Central/Mount Pulaski/Williamsville Students
This is a remote learning class. Students get to explore various types careers and the necessary training required to be successful. Students must have a job where they receive a paycheck and work at least 15 hours a week. Students in this class may be released early to go to work with permission from their high school.
