FEMA Assistance Activated for Acadiana Businesses and Individuals
Effective August 16th, 2016, the federal declaration for the state of Louisiana has been updated to include the following eight (8) Acadiana parishes of Acadia, Evangeline, Iberia, Jeff Davis, Lafayette, St. Landry, St. Martin, and Vermilion.
Businesses and individuals seeking assistance should register with FEMA by doing one of the following:

Applying at disasterassistance.gov
Downloading the FEMA app
An Acadiana Disaster Recovery Center has not yet opened; however, the Louisiana Small Business Development Center is encouraging affected business owners to register with FEMA to expedite the process of setting up a center in our region. Updates will be provided as received.
