The Acadiana High School counselors try to promote and encourage positive mental health and wellness. Lessons may be periodically offered in on a variety of personal/social topics. Parents may also ask about other community resources.

The Mayo Clinic Health System has provided a free, month-long self-guided virtual program to help you improve your mental well-being through daily journaling. Having a positive outlook in life can help improve your mental well-being. Sharing kindness and being mindful support this positive shift. This community program is appropriate for adults and children.

May is Mental Health Awareness month. The child mind institute has collected a number of videos from several celebrities, actors, athletes and role models who offered to share a little about their struggles & offer encouragement to youth.
