If you have a goal to one day be a college athlete, your AHS school counselors want to help potential student-athletes achieve them.
It first starts with remembering the first part of that title--"Student"--in student-athlete. Grades matter, and not just passing but work to excel! Put forth the same effort in the classroom as on the field or court if you want to be one of the elite to play college sports.
The second part is Communication. Communicate with your coaches and with your school counselor if this is one of your goals. They can offer you suggestions on the athletic side. We can offer you suggesions on the academic side, but communication is the key. Here are some important resources below.
